Hello,
I am trying to select a solar panel supplier for our home. 5-8 KVA, space is not a issue, but reliability and proven track record for longitivity is. Can you provide the top 5 panels that meet this criteria. Please rank in order of highest reliability first and how this reliability data was acquired.\
Thank you and Best Regards,
Paul

The two key factors to look at are warranty and efficiency.
The warranty is typically 25 years (minimum 5 years workmanship and 20 years power output) Some manufactures offer longer warranties on their workmanship.
Secondly, efficiency which will vary by module wattage and type. Typically this will be between 13 - 16%. The higher the number the more yield.
Now, neither of these is bullet proof. Look for manufactures with long history in the industry. They're likely not to disappear but if they do there will be some manner of warranty support afterwards.
My short list based on those criteria in no specific order.
Canadian Solar
Q.Cells
SolarWorld
REC
Kyocera
I have 30 Kyocera 210 instaled 7/2010 and still working great.
