I would like to know what is the best system a 48volt or 24 volt system Comments Hey Chad, I'd like to say the answer is simple but I does depend on what the system is meant to power as to what is most appropriate. The basic idea is that the higher the voltage the more watts you will have. Let's say we have an 80A charge controller. 80A * 12V = 960 Watts 80A * 24V = 1,920 Watts 80A * 48V = 3,840 Watts In certain circumstances any one of the three systems is appropriate, but it's load dependant.
