What do you need for a residential off-grid system that can support a 208V pump?

Howdy, 

  I want to take my home off-grid. 
  I have split-phase 120/240V power, but I have a 1 HP 208V pump I use for my swimming pool. 
  If I use an off-grid inverter that outputs 120/240 do I need any additional equipment to support my 208V pump?
