At the end of 2010, there were about 1300 installs in HI of less than 10kW. Average cost was about $6.73 per Watt. How do I know this? There's a great Berkeley Labs tool called Tracking the Sun that maps the price of solar all over the country: https://emp.lbl.gov/tracking-the-sun
Installed cost is probably closer to $6 / Watt now, depending on your installation site peculiarities.
