I have 8 Schott Solar panels that were put on with a government grant.I didn't get to have any involvement in it at
all and I don't see a grid tie in inverter. How do they tie these into the grid?

Given the size of the system, the easiest way to tie them to the grid is to use Enphase energy micro-inverters, one for each panel. Here is an article on the new Enphase M215. Thanks.
