Check out the DynoRaxx flat roof ballasted mounting system. dynoraxx.com. Nothing on the market compares.

Looks interesting - I like the 'no tool' claim. When I visited the DynoRaxx website, the support rails were clearly made out of galvanzed steel, but the text suggested they were stainless steel 304. Galvanized steel is highly corrosive to aluminum module frames under normal conditions.

Why don't you post a link to an installation manual or spec sheet? If the product really does stand out, It might me something we would add to our PV Racking Comparison article,

trizzo, I checked the website too. But I couldn't find any technical specifications.

The photos do not represent a high-quality ballast roof system. What is the price range? Could you please provide further information? (guessing that you are one of the DynoRaxx employees)

I visited the DynoRaxx booth at PV America. They said it was their debut to the public. The product had been in development for two years and installed in 4 MWs worth of installations. They have definitely done their homework. DynoRaxx has engineered a 100% tool-less ballasted racking system. Seeing is believing.

Talk about a well engineered, but simple system! The DynoRaxx website is correct in stating 304 Stainless for the Rails. The system was wind tunnel tested at NASA, tested under real snow loads, and dramatically reduces installation time (from what I could see).

They said that they provide full engineering reports and take into account roof warranty. I am not an employee. I had come across their website in looking for a ballasted system. Now seeing it! I am definitely incorporating it into my next project.
