i have a small cabin ( 24 feet by 20 feet ) in rural S.E. ohio, i wish to install a solar panel system to power some 12 volt led camper style lights, and a automotive stereo , as well as an occasional home appliance, such as a blender.
What would be an adequite size power inverter, and an estimated cost. thank you in advance for any help with these questions

Joe- Question for you, is the cabin off-grid or do you currently have a connection to the grid? The next question is to add up the daily watts of the electric load you are using. Once you know that, you can take this rough formula for how big of system you will need.
(PV array wattage) x (Ave. Hours of Sun) x 75% = Daily watt-hours
The inverter would be sized based on the size of the system and if it is off-grid or on-grid.
