I have a small problem.  I got Trina Solar panels and Weeblug 6.7 grounding clips, but the bolt for the Weeblug won't fit though the hole identified as a grounding point on the solar panel frame.  What to do?  Drill the grounding hole large enough to accomodate the bolt?  Use one of the mounting holes on the panel frame?

Drilling a hole to enlarge the hole on the frame may void the warranty. You may also damage the module backsheet. The grounding lug screw is 0.25". Unless required, I would advise against it.  That being said, installers are drilling holes on the module frames, so it does happen.

TheTrina grounding hole is 0.15" and the installation hole is 0.32". I would just use the installation hole for grounding if you are using top-clamps mounting.

It wouldn't be a problem if you just show the inspector the attached grounding wire.
