Golden Mile Warehouse

As a trucking company that provides freight trucks to customers across the entire country, Golden Mile Truck and Tire Services runs its warehouses around the clock. The electricity cost from lighting their San Bernardino warehouse added up, and solar was the logical next step to lower those energy costs.

As soon as Golden Mile filled out the Greentech Renewables’ solar interest webform, Orange Coast Solar was up for the task. Orange Coast Solar is a local installer based out of Orange County, and the sales rep made an instant connection with the COO of Golden Mile. This installer excels in both forming strong relationships with the companies they are working with, and demonstrating their solar expertise through professional proposals tailored to each customer. They always go above and beyond, meeting the customer onsite for thorough site surveys and having several discussions so they can truly understand what their vision is for solar. Orange Coast Solar’s strong rapport with Golden Mile allowed the project to progress smoothly over the course of the next few months. 

Once the financing of the project was taken care of, the contract was signed 6 months after Golden Mile first contacted Greentech Renewables. Only 8 months after the contract was signed, Orange Coast Solar seamlessly installed a 48 kW solar array on Golden Mile’s warehouse roof. The design included 90 modules, using commercial Q cells of 400 and 75W. Golden Mile additionally decided to add Level 2 Enphase EV chargers to their property. This PV array will provide huge amounts of savings in less than 5 years.
