I have a 130 kW array in the works and need inverters for this. I don't want to hang 14 string inverters, not enough room.

I would greatly recommend you use individual micro inverters mounted on rack behind each panel. To do this your panels can't exceed 250 watts each. That is a very large array.  I think you are going to need help onsite here. Where are you located? You can e-mail me at (poweroftheson2@yahoo.com.) if you would like. Thanks for the interest in solar. Jesse

It will be hard to find a single phase 240 Vac inverter over 10kW because the amperage starts to exceed 50A and it becomes impractical to tie it to most 240Vac services. At 500A, how would you connect to the grid? Here are some options:
  • As Solarmanjack says - Microinverters - amperage will be the same, but no mounting issues.
  • Install a 480Vac 3-Phase or 208 3-phase transformer - then you will have many 12-30kW options.
