When using 2 strings in a combiner, why would one string voltage measure about 1/2 when one string fuse is blown?

Comments

Dwayne, where was the voltage measurement taken?  It sounds like the faulted string on first brush, maybe the faulted module lies somewhere mid-string and that might be why you're seeing half.

The voltage was measured in the SB4000-US inverter after the strings were combined in the combiner of the DC disconnect. A blown fuse was the problem. There were no faults in the module string. The string voltage was normal after the faulty fuse was replaced.
