What is the NetID Settings on SMA Piggy-Back card on a PC?
What is the NetID coded switch on the Piggy-Back set to for the Sunny Beam vs Sunny Explorer on a PC?
Comments
The documentation is somewhat unclear. If you are using the Sunny Beam, the switch has to be set to '2". If you are using a PC with Sunny Explorer and a USB Bluetooth device connected on the PC, leave the switch set to "1" (the default as it comes from the factory).
Footnote: If you are using Sunny Explorer, you do not need the Sunny Beam device as long as you are only monitoring one inverter.
A friend of mine just installed a 2.5 kW system using a Sunny Boy SB3000 inverter, and he bought Sunny Web Box. I didn't know there was a product product called Sunny Beam and Sunny Explorer. I guess it's much cheaper.
