What are the advantages/disadvantages of mono or poly crystalline panels?
Why would I chose one over the other?

The main one is that mono is more efficient so you can get more W/ft^2. If you are space constrained then you want mono. But the $/W is generally higher. Poly are less costly per watt so if you have more room they often are a less costly option overall. There are other differences but often it comes down to these.
What about heat, is there a difference. For example we are Bay Area installers, if we are installing in the Delta or Sacramento Valley, is there any practical difference with higher temperatures?
