I noticed the new SMA Sunny Boy -40 inverters are rated for a lower input current than the previous generation. The -22 series was rated for 15 amps per MPP tracker but the new -40 is only rated for -10.
For example, a SolarWorld 60 cell 300 mono has an Imp of 9.57. Using a 1.56 correction factor puts that string over the 10 amp limit.
Does this impact the modules I can use with this new inverter? Does it impact how I string my modules?

Good question Anon.
While the imput current of the new SB -40s is 10 amps the max short-circuit current per input is 18A. 18A is a hard equipment limit for short circuit current per input. You will be just fine using the SolarWorld 300.
