I have a Sharp NT-175UC1 solar panel...Open circuit voltage=44.4V Short-circuit voltage=5.40A Rated voltage=35.4V
I've been looking at the Morningstar PS-15M-48V. Will this controller work for a small 12v, 2 battery, toy hauler? Thanks
Comments
The Prostar is a PWM charge controller, so the "Nominal" array voltage should match the nominal battery voltage. In your toy hauler, everything runs off of 12 volts, this wouldn't really work.
I would go with the Sunsaver MPPT it can handle up to 200W of PV and 75 Volts DC, open circuit.
