I need to find what installers are using for a meter base and  over current limiting devices.

Are we allowed to use a combo load center/meter base for a PV project or do we need to install separate equipment boxes?

I found a  meter base and combo load center that appears to supply what is needed,  a meter base for production logging and a load center for over current disconnection.

Using enphase I need a 2 pole 20 amp breaker for each string. This box provides both
meter, circuit breakers and combining of array strings, and the price is decent: Square D by Scheider Electric Homeline 125 Amp 8-Space 16-Circuit Combination Service.

Also do I need ground fault breakers or normal, I haven't found a definitive yes/no in the NEC 2008 manual.

Any comments on any of this?

Todd,

We sell a lot of these. This RGM (revenue grade meter) is Enphase compatible. If you need a meter socket, then the panel you listed is a good one.

You do not use a GFI breaker with Enphase.
