I'm looking for a MPPT controller that could work with NiFe battery bank, 12V nominal, but wants to see about 15V finishing chgMax PV input is about 20A. System is stand alone DC, no inverter. Must keep RFI to a minimum as I use this for sensitive radio receivers in the HF spectrum. Any advice appreciated.

Cliff,

We don't have any experience with the NiFe battery chemistry. You should contact your battery manufacturer to find out which chargers work and try http://www.worldwidedx.com/ or another HF radio forum to see which charge controllers produce the lowest noise under real use. You could also probably switch off the charger during TX / RX periods if noise was an issue.

This Samlex controller has NiFe related charging info: https://www.samlexamerica.com/documents/manuals/SCC-30AB_Manual_Feb2011.pdf
