I want to connect two panels @13 V 2.5 amp and get 13 V @ 5 amp? What do I need?
I have two identical solar panels, they have regulator's built in, 13 volts @ 2.5 amps each. I would like to combine and get 13 volts at 5 amps. Is this a possibility? Thanks, Stan.

Hi Stan,
You'll have to connect your two solar panels in parallel - positive connector to positive connector, and negative to negative.
If your panels are prewired, you can use something like the MC4 branch connector.
Otherwise, you can easily wire them yourself using a locally sourced junction box.
