How many Solon 235's in each string would be optimal for a Power One 10kW Inverter?

Hi Alchemy,
It depends on many factors; such as where you are located, what the temperature are etc.he Power-One Aurora string sizing tool is not the best in the industry, but they have one.
So, I ran the string sizing tool for you with Solon Blue 235W, assuming that the minimum ambient temp is -10C and maximum ambient temperature is 50C (122F).
The Aurora 10 is not allowed in the string sizing tool, however, you can look at the voltage and current values on the bottom of the excel sheet.
The max. current for the US model is 30A, and the max voltage is 600V.
Thus; you can go up to 14 modules x 3 strings, which accounts for 42 modules and 9870W. To confirm this information I'd suggest you call the technical support of Power-One Aurora.
