I am using 9x Sunny Boy 8000 that are 1000ft away from the building.I'd like to use a PV monitoring system, that's capable of transmitting this data. I see that Bluetooth doesn't tranmist more than 300ft.Any suggestions? Comments I would buy the standard SMA WebBox (non-bluetooth version). That way, you can connect the inverters with RS485 (COMCAB-OUT500) cable that can extend up to 1000m (3937 ft) without any loss of data. Reply Here is the page from the SMA Webbox manual that shows the distance allowed for the RS485 cable.
