I purchased Enphase D380 twin pack micro inverters for my solar installation.  I have 20 ET Solar 230 black solar panels.   The question I don't understand is how do I size the trunk cables required for the install?  Do you need a single trunk cable at the end of the chain?  How many end caps do you need for each install?  Can someone explain this to me?  Thanks in advance.  Also, can you run the D380 on the same system with Enphase M190 micro-inverters?

Stan, you need one (3) drop trunk cable for every (3) D380s so you'll need (3) - three drop trunks and 1- single drop trunk.  I hope that helps.

p.s. if you don't have the 3 drop trunks in hand they may be hard to come by for the next 3 weeks.

Thanks Mike, that make sense.  I was told by Greentech Renewables that they will back instock on the trucks on 12/15.

Stan, mike9's answer is sufficient. I just wanted to share the Enphase D380 “TwinPack” Microinverter Installation, Application Notes (pdf). Please refer to page 4. For 20 modules, you won't need an end-cap.

For your 2nd question;
Yes, you can use Enphase M190 and D380 in the same system, however they have to be on separate branch circuits. They have different amperage.
