I am working with a customer to design a solar installation for their new home construction in Laguna Beach, CA.   My customer will not complete the home until mid-next year.  If I want to lock-in the current rebate for this project, how do I go about doing this?  Can you make a reservation request for CSI?

Good question.  The answer is yes, you not only can but need to make a reservation request in California for all CSI projects in order to get funding.   For EPBB projects that are less than 10 kW there is a two step process.  The first step is a reservation request.   Here is the link to the SCE two step application process.

In order to get a reservation in California you need to register with PowerClerk and complete the required information.  This link below is to CSI PowerClerk website which explains the required documents needed for a reservation.

In addition, the CSI Handbook explains everything that you will need for the reservation and claim process.
