I'm going to install three circuits of 12 Enphase M215 inverters on an asphalt residential roof with a 4/12 pitch. How can I combine them without a big, ugly, vertical J-box or Nema 3R load center? Over-current protection would be nice as well. Thanks!

Martha,

You might want to consider using a Soladeck combiner. It was originally designed for DC use, and has been very popular as a DC combiner and/or J-box, but it's also listed for AC use.  Here are the Soladeck part numbers:
  • 0760-41AD for combining AC
  • 0786-3R5 for simple pass thru.
