Hello all Im pretty new here. I was researching Sun Tech solar roof tiles and wanted to get some input on sizing. Based on my calculations of 900 kw hours usage per month average in my house hold. In order to provide a system to match that usage I would need a system that is about 6.96kw in size.
With Each tiles being 50watts I would need about 140 tiles to produce a system this size correct? Is there a single inverter for this size or will I need 2 in verters? Is this too big of a system for a house?
Where can I find the wiring basics for a system like this? Does anyone know the AMPs of these panels (Tried to find on manufacture website but no info)? How many panes can be wired in an array? I want to be tied to a grid system too. Thanks for the input in advance.

This is a great question sobie46.
7 kW is a fairly large system for a residential house, but it's large enough for your consumption. When you select the number of inverters, you need to make sure that you have unobstructed south facing roof where you can install the modules. If you use two different roofs with two different angles, I recommend you to use two separate inverters for each array.
You can use;
1 x SMA 6000 US inverter or
2 x PV Powered 3000 inverters.
