Hello I am currently renovating a small commercial building. As part of the renovation, the electric service was disconnected and the energy needs during the construction phase are being met with 8 ND-U230C1 Sharp 230 watt panels, GP-SW3000-24 3000-Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter, Morningstar TS-MPPT-45 TriStar 45 Amp Charge Controller 12-48V and 4 DECA deep draw batteries. The construction is nearing completion. The building will be getting a 400 amp 208 v three phase connection from the grid. I would like to integrate the panels (add another 10 panels for a total of 4.1KW) and the battery into grid tied setup with battery back up. I am trying to get guidance on what inverters are best suited for this configuration since the grid connection is three phase. In addition to the inverter what other disconnect devices will be required? Can I still use the charge controller that exists in the current setup? If a generator option can be added what additional hardware will be required to also integrate a generator into the mix? I may not invest in the generator at this time. But eventually want to add it and want to future proof my design from that perspective by incorporating any control or disconnect/change over devices (automatic or manual), Any help is greatly appreciated.
