IS THERE ANY ADDITIONAL TWEAKING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO THE CHARGE CONTROLLERS AFTER THEY ARE INSTALLED OR ARE THEY ALREADY PRESET TO CREATE THE MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY TO CHARGE YOUR BATTERY BANK?

Comments

As far as efficiency you need not make any adjustments as most modern equipment is already set up to be as efficient as possible out of the box.

However, it is important to adjust the settings of the charge controller (CC) to you system voltage (i.e. 12, 24, 48).  Also, you can make adjustments to how you want you CC to charge your battery bank.

Another important adjustment to make is for the battery type that is being used.  This could be flooded lead acid (FLA), AGAM, Gel, or even Lithium ion.  If at any point the battery type is changed as you update or upgrade your system you will want to make sure that you change this parameter in your CC.
