Based on the technical nature of battery O&M, would you advise an average homeowner to purchase wet lead acid batteries or gel/VRLA batteries? (what O&M is involved with each battery class?)

Unless the homeowner is living the solar lifestyle and is totally willing to put in the time for maintenance, we nearly always recommend sealed (AGM or gel).
