Casey Electric of Tell City, IN, designed and installed this 20.28kW ground mount array.
Casey Electric serves a wide range of customers, from residential to commercial and utility-scale solar installations. Seeking to replicate the look and ease of installation of the utility arrays, Josh Casey and his team selected the AET Rayport-G ECO for this project. Powered by Canadian Solar modules and SolarEdge inverters this system will one day feed Tesla PowerWall batteries to ensure as much solar energy is used onsite as possible.
The usefulness of batteries is also evidenced by low net metering rates in Indiana paired with a low cost of electricity (under 10 cents per kWh on average). Once paired with energy storage, this system will supply the vast majority of the energy needs onsite.
