8 kW Solarium in Charlotte, NC

This elegant solarium was custom-designed and created by Accelerate Solar in Charlotte, NC. The project consists of 27 Sunpreme GXB 290W Double-Glass Frameless Bifacial Solar Modules. The solarium includes a rustic tile floor, a beadboard back wall, and dual pane low-e glass all around. 

Additionally, a second layer of tempered glass was installed 7" below the solar module, creating an air channel, which will provide ventilation to keep the room from getting too hot, as well as direct heat into the room if needed. This one-of-a-kind custom room creates a beautiful open living space with 12' ceilings and plentiful light.
