315 kW WB Church: Gainesville, FL installation

As part of the GRU Feed-in Tariff program, Westside Baptist Church agreed to host the installation of a solar PV system on the 2 buildings at their property in Gainesville, FL. Logistically, this was a complex system to install. 2 buildings are holding 119 kW and 196 kW with multiple mounting structures – ballasted, standing seam clamp with and without angled brackets, and a penetrating asphalt shingle structure. The system is 315 kW and has 1,260 PV panels (250-watt Astronergy) and 13 x 20 kW Chint Solar central inverters. This project was a collaborative effort among many groups: Westside Baptist Church (host), Power Production Management (EPC), and GRU (Utility).
