This large, rural solar ground-mount system in Nebraska combines concepts of sustainability, design, and longevity to offer reliable energy access to local community members.

Renewable Solar LLC offers both roof and ground-mounted solar panel sales, service, and installation for homes, businesses, farms, and industries throughout most of Nebraska. In April, AJ Kush and his team completed a unique co-gen microgrid project in rural Nebraska for a local utility. The project features Mission Solar 340W mono 72-cell modules, Yaskawa-Solectria 50kW PVI-TL inverters, and an IronRidge ground mount system. The racking frame is constructed with a three-inch schedule 40 galvanized pipe; moreover, the IronRidge rails and racking hardware feature integrated grounding for system compliance. In an effort to further its sustainability goals, Renewable Solar LLC ensured the weed barrier was constructed from recycled tire mulch. In addition, the open grasses in the photos were planted through the efforts of a wildlife habitat seed program.

Renewable Solar LLC completed most of the system design in-house with help from their Greentech Renewables Account Manager. In conjunction with Greentech Renewables' in-house engineering team, the Manager verified the system's anticipated performance, reliability expectations, and system engineering verification.
