This 2021 project Spring Branch, TX installation features 48 Jinko JKM400M-72H solar panels paired with Enphase IQ7PLUS-72-US microinverters. The installation also includes Ironridge XR Rails, Enphase Encharge 10kW with Enphase Smart Switch, and a Generac 22 kW Whole Home B-U generator. The 19.2 kW project was made possible thanks to Greentech Renewables San Antonio and the hard work of Solar Edge Pros.
The homeowners wanted to reduce their carbon footprint by going solar and completely off-grid. They found it was a great time to add solar to their home as they were able to install the system on a new build.
These customers wanted to ensure they would be protected against power outages from natural disasters or winter storms, further motivating their decision to add backup batteries and a home generator to their system.
