Two Mobile Apps to Get Things Done and Reduce Paper Waste

I am totally psyched with useful tools, especially those that come in the form of mobile apps.  As someone who is constantly on the go, whether it be out in the field, in the office or at home, I have come to rely on two apps that help me save time, be efficient and reduce my personal paper waste.  These apps are TurboScan by Piksoft Inc. and PDF Expert by Readdle.     TurboScan allows me to digitize paper documents on the spot. This app does an amazing job of producing quality 'scanned' documents and is super easy to use. Place your document on any surface, choose Camera, snap a shot of your document and TurboScan does the rest. Options to handle a scanned document include black/white, color and photo image processing with a handful of brightness options, scan multiple pages to a single document, email the document as a PDF, JPEG or PNG or quickly email yourself with just a few taps using the "Email to myself" feature. Some of you may ask, "Why don't you just take a picture of the document?" My response is, the image processing by TurboScan is phenomenal and beats any color photograph for capturing paper documents.  Try it out, you won't be disappointed.  

The second app, PDF Expert, provides me with the ability to read, organize and annotate PDFs on my mobile devices. It also allows me to work with PDF forms. My two favorite uses for this app come in the form of annotations. Annotating is super easy with a simple tool set to add notes and comments to a PDF document. The best feature, though is this app's ability to capture signatures.  It couldn't be easier: hold your finger on the screen until a menu pops up, select "Signature" and sign away.  This is perfect for capturing a client or coworker's signature on the fly.   The app also has a bulit-in "My Signature" feature that allows you to stamp and size your own signature.  This feature has saved me a ton of times in the field and has helped me to completely eliminate the process of print --> sign --> scan --> email --> throw away a printed signature page.     With the help of these app my paper-wasting days are coming to an end.  Now that I have shared two of my favorite time and paper-saving apps, what about you?  What apps help you get things done and save time and reduce waste?
